So, with Christmas just around the corner, I have been making some homemade ornaments. These would be great gifts for those Christmas parties that are before Christmas because then whoever you were giving them too could still hang them on the tree.
To make an ornament like this, you begin with a clear glass ornament. Then you drop paint into the ornament and swirl it around until the glass is completely covered.
Next you tie ribbon to it and add any type of embellishments that you like.
You can also make your own shimmer ornaments using glitter and mod podge.
Mix together the glitter and the mod podge in a plate.
Paint the mixture over the ornament so that it is completely covered. Let it dry.
Just keep painting layers of the glitter and mod podge mixture over the ornament until it is completely covered. It works best if you allow each layer to dry before adding another.
After the ornament dries, then you can add ribbon or anything else too it. The possibilities are endless.
